- Treatment of susceptible skin and skin-structure bacterial infections.
- Treatment of susceptible intra-abdominal bacterial infections.
- Treatment of susceptible gynaecological bacterial infections.
- Treatment of mixed infection involving ampicillin-susceptible and beta-lactamase-producing organisms susceptible to the combination.
- Use only for proven or strongly suspected susceptible bacterial infection, guided by cultures whenever available.
