Indications and uses

Treatment of hypertension.
Reduction of stroke risk in hypertensive patients with left-ventricular hypertrophy when losartan is appropriate.
Treatment of diabetic nephropathy in type 2 diabetes with hypertension and proteinuria.
Use with other antihypertensive medicines when additional blood-pressure control is needed.
