Indications and uses
- Treatment of hypertension requiring an ACE inhibitor and beta-blocker combination.
- Hypertension not adequately controlled with either active component alone.
- Hypertension where renin–angiotensin-system inhibition and heart-rate control are both appropriate.
- Substitution therapy in patients stabilised on ramipril and metoprolol separately.
- Long-term treatment only when both active components and doses are clinically appropriate.
