Indications and uses
- Improvement of glycaemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes requiring triple oral therapy.
- Adjunct to diet and exercise when dual glucose-lowering therapy is inadequate.
- Reduction of fasting glucose through complementary insulin-sensitising and insulin-secretagogue actions.
- Reduction of post-meal glucose through the combined treatment regimen.
- Maintenance treatment only when metformin, pioglitazone and the sulfonylurea are all appropriate.
