Indications and uses

Prevention and long-term treatment of chronic stable angina.
Reduction of the frequency of angina attacks in ischaemic heart disease.
Improvement of exercise tolerance in patients limited by chronic angina.
Add-on antianginal therapy when first-line treatment does not provide adequate symptom control.
Alternative antianginal therapy when other suitable agents are contraindicated or not tolerated.
