Indications and uses
- Treatment of mixed dyslipidaemia when both LDL cholesterol and triglycerides require management.
- Treatment of severe hypertriglyceridaemia in appropriately selected patients.
- Additional triglyceride lowering when statin treatment alone is insufficient.
- Reduction of non-HDL cholesterol and other atherogenic lipids.
- Adjunct to diet and lifestyle when the statin–fibrate combination is clinically appropriate.
