Indications and uses
- Treatment of susceptible acute bacterial sinusitis or otitis media involving beta-lactamase-producing organisms.
- Treatment of susceptible lower-respiratory-tract bacterial infections requiring amoxicillin–clavulanate.
- Treatment of susceptible urinary-tract bacterial infections requiring beta-lactamase inhibition.
- Treatment of susceptible skin, soft-tissue, dental or bite-wound bacterial infections.
- Use only when both amoxicillin and clavulanate are clinically appropriate for the suspected or confirmed pathogen.
