- Treatment of susceptible lower-respiratory-tract bacterial infections.
- Treatment of susceptible complicated urinary-tract bacterial infections.
- Treatment of susceptible intra-abdominal, skin, soft-tissue, bone or joint infections.
- Treatment of susceptible meningitis, gonorrhoea, bacteraemia or sepsis.
- Perioperative prophylaxis for selected procedures in accordance with local antimicrobial guidance.
