Indications and uses
- Treatment of susceptible bacterial infection involving beta-lactamase-producing organisms when ceftriaxone plus the included inhibitor is appropriate.
- Treatment of susceptible complicated respiratory-tract bacterial infection requiring the complete combination.
- Treatment of susceptible complicated urinary-tract bacterial infection requiring beta-lactamase inhibition.
- Treatment of susceptible intra-abdominal, skin or soft-tissue bacterial infection when both components are justified.
- Culture-directed treatment of susceptible bacteraemia or sepsis under hospital antimicrobial guidance.
