Indications and uses
- Maintenance treatment of bronchial asthma when nebulised corticosteroid therapy is appropriate.
- Control of persistent airway inflammation in asthma.
- Reduction of asthma symptoms and exacerbations as part of regular controller therapy.
- Treatment of croup in infants and children when hospital-based nebulised budesonide is indicated.
- Use with other controller or reliever medicines when the complete respiratory regimen is clinically appropriate.
