Indications and uses

• Treatment of susceptible bacterial infection involving beta-lactamase-producing organisms when cefuroxime plus the included inhibitor is appropriate.
• Treatment of susceptible upper- or lower-respiratory-tract bacterial infection requiring both components.
• Treatment of susceptible urinary-tract bacterial infection requiring beta-lactamase inhibition.
• Treatment of susceptible skin or soft-tissue bacterial infection when the complete combination is justified.
• Culture-directed use only when the suspected or confirmed pathogen is susceptible to the complete formulation.
